Hi, I'm Elise!

If you had told me a few years ago that I'd own a boutique, I never would have believed you. After spending 14 wonderful years as a preschool teacher, I retired in 2021 with no idea what my next chapter would be. Then I started working at Mama + Me Boutique—and everything changed.

I quickly fell in love with helping families celebrate life's biggest moments, from welcoming a new baby to finding the perfect gift or outfit. When the opportunity came to purchase the boutique in 2024, I took a leap of faith. It was one of the biggest (and best) decisions I've ever made.

As our business grew, so did our vision. What began as a baby boutique has evolved into a destination for the entire family. While we'll always love serving moms and little ones, we've expanded to offer so much more.

In 2026, we became Johnnie + Rae Boutique & Gift Shop—a name that reflects who we've become while honoring two of the people who helped shape who I am: my grandparents. Their kindness, generosity, and love for family continue to inspire everything we do.

Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Liberty, Missouri, we're more than just a boutique. We love creating a warm, welcoming place where families can shop, celebrate, and make memories. From thoughtfully curated products to our beautiful event space for showers, birthdays, and special gatherings, we hope every visit feels personal.
